1. Controller identity
Merge Zonenet (contact at hello@merge-zonenet.digital, +82 7 504 8222, 163-2 Gumi-dong, Donghae-si, Gangwon-do, Republic of Korea) is the data controller for personal data collected through this site and enrollment flows.
2. Categories of data
We may process identifiers (name, email, company), communication content you submit, technical logs (IP address, browser type), cookie identifiers where applicable, and program attendance records for enrolled cohorts.
3. Purposes of processing
Data is used to respond to inquiries, operate training events, improve site reliability, secure our systems, and—only where you opt in—understand aggregated traffic patterns for curriculum planning.
4. Legal bases (where GDPR-style analysis applies)
For EU/EEA visitors where GDPR applies via establishment or targeting, we rely on consent for non-essential cookies, contractual necessity for enrollments, legitimate interests for fraud prevention and site security, and legal obligations where retention is compelled.
5. Retention
Contact form submissions are retained up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is needed for an open enrollment or dispute. Program records follow statutory business record requirements applicable in Korea, typically up to five years unless a longer period is required for tax or litigation holds.
6. Processors and recipients
We use reputable hosting, email delivery, and analytics subprocessors bound by written agreements. A current list is available on request. We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
If data is processed outside Korea, we implement appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms required by applicable law, and document transfer impact considerations where mandated.
8. Security measures
We apply TLS in transit, access controls for staff, and least-privilege administration. No online transmission is perfectly secure; please report suspected incidents promptly.
9. Your rights
Depending on jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. Korean residents may exercise rights under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) including complaint routes to the Personal Information Protection Commission where applicable.
10. Children and policy updates
Services are directed to professionals; we do not knowingly collect data from children under fourteen without parental authority. Updates to this Data Protection statement will be posted with a revised date and, where required, additional notice.
